By reducing muscle pain, we allow the body to relax and recuperate.

Please note: This is not your typical massage therapy session as our RMTs will be using manual therapy for the purpose of movement. Our goal is to help you move better, so please come prepared with shorts and a sports bra/tank top as you can expect to be up and moving periodically throughout your session. Active Rehabilitation is an individualized program to meet your goals and functional needs with respect to lifestyle, work or sport. Our goal is to ensure you return to functional independence in all aspects of life and to prevent a recurrence of your injury.

Don’s journey towards a proactive outlook in health and fitness began over 8 years ago. After suffering multiple injuries while playing high level soccer, he wondered if beyond a way to recover quickly and efficiently from these injuries, there was a course of action he could take to increase the resilience of his body and prevent further injuries from arising. This was the start of his passion to help others also take a more proactive approach towards recovery and injury prevention. Graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Kinesiology, Don strives to help people recover from injuries, educate his clients in the purpose of active rehabilitation, and gain strength in order to move well for life.

Don has experience with ICBC clients involved in car accidents, WCB claims, and the general population looking to resolve injuries quickly. He is also a Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist.

In his free time, you can find Don on the mountains snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking. He is an avid camper and loves to explore the vast landscapes of beautiful scenery BC has to offer. When he’s not adventuring in the wilderness, he enjoys playing board games and video games with his friends.
